Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at Info@universaltreecare.ca if you cannot find an answer to your question.

The cost of tree removal reflects the many hazards of the job, the specialized skills and the equipment required. We offer our clients the latest in removal techniques with our high-quality tools to ensure safe and efficient work to help keep costs easy on the pocket. If you’re a seasonal shrub or tree pruner, you know how much work that little haircut and debris cleanup can involve. This is why our quotes are free of charge. A Certified Arborist will visit your site to answer all your tree questions and provide an accurate project cost with no surprises!

We generally grind four to six inches below grade (ground level).  This leaves plenty of space for re-establishing lawn or adding to your garden. Stump grinding is a great way to remove stumps and roots with little to no impact to your property.

As long as the live canopy being removed is under 20%, most tree trimming or pruning can be safely done at any time of the year. Typically a tree’s pruning cycle is 3 to 5 years to maintain a strong, healthy form, but species, age and health play a role in what will work best for your tree. Regularly monitoring your trees and providing consistent maintenance is the best way to ensure that they stay healthy for years to come.

Yes! The team at Universal Tree care is proud to hold good standing with this ISA being an ISA Ontario member, Certified Arborist and Certified Tree Worker Climber Specialist.
